Ganbare Japan expresses its deepest sympathy for the tragic loss of life that has resulted from the massive earthquake and tsunami that devastated eastern Japan. As in all emergencies of such magnitude, children are always the most vulnerable for our future. Cobra Endo have helped and supported children in need who have lost their parents by The Massive Kobe Earthquake in 1995, by participating the great project “J-Friends” of Johnny & Associates for 6 years, and he decided to create Ganbare Japan.
After a full year, the disaster’s impact is still felt acutely, not just in the affected areas but throughout Japan. In Tohoku, nearly 350,000 people remain displaced from their homes, with many living in cramped temporary housing, some jobless, some without hope, as they face an uncertain future.
After a year from Great East Earthquake & Tsunami, we stand and are ready to assist these children who have lost their parents in the disaster for a long time to come.
